Photos and a detailed description of the boat are available on our website for you to review before your trip. During this trip, you'll have the opportunity to engage in bottom fishing, a popular technique that targets various species of fish inhabiting the ocean floor. Captain Whitfield, an experienced angler, will guide you to the best fishing spots and provide expert advice to help you maximize your catches. The 42’ Sally D is well-equipped to handle offshore conditions, offering a safe and comfortable environment for your fishing adventure. Please note that due to USCG regulations, the charter is limited to a maximum of 6 passengers. While we provide all the essential fishing gear, there are a few additional considerations for your trip. You are encouraged to bring your own food and drinks in a small cooler to stay refreshed throughout the day. Fish cleaning services are available at the marina from March to October, and we will assist you in transferring your catch to the processor. The cost for fish cleaning is typically determined by the pound. If you plan on keeping your fish, remember to bring a cooler that can be left in your vehicle, as do-it-yourself cleaning facilities are generally not available due to wildlife regulations. A customary tip for the captain and crew, usually 20% of the charter price, is also a recommended additional expense.
