Join the crew aboard the Tammy Jane for a 2-hour educational and picturesque low-country experience as we take you out Shrimping at sunset! Learn about our healthy salt marsh environment and be introduced to some of the sea creatures we'll safely pull up in our nets (in addition to shrimp!). This is a unique opportunity for guests of all ages! We will explore how various ecosystems intertwine to create the rich food web that provides food for our tables. If we do catch shrimp aboard an expedition the crew will package some up for guests to take home. This is still fishing though, and shrimp isn’t always guaranteed but the crew will do their best to give you some to take home. Hilton Head Island is home to a very unique tour experience as you step aboard a fully functional shrimp boat and see what it takes to bring wild caught tasty Carolina shrimp to your table! Come learn from the crew about how a shrimp boat operates and also about our other local marine life. If you are feeling daring step up to the sorting table as the crew starts to go through the day's catch! Best of all, the day's catch is split up evenly among the guests on a given trip! You get to walk away with some tasty Carolina shrimp to cook up for yourself that was NEVER frozen!
