PADI Dive Training and Certification - Become a Certified Diver! If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, further your skills, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Join a PADI course today! **Open Water Diver Certification** Start your underwater adventure with the PADI Open Water Diver course—the first step in becoming a certified diver. This comprehensive program combines classroom learning, pool training, and four open-water dives in the ocean, Florida springs, or local lakes. In as little as three days, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to explore the underwater world safely and independently. The Course Breakdown 1. Knowledge Development Most students begin with home study, also called knowledge development. In this phase, you’ll learn about scuba equipment, underwater communication, and diving terminology while watching videos that demonstrate core diving skills. You can complete this portion at your own pace—whether over several days or a few weeks. The most popular option is PADI eLearning®, an independent study program that lets you read, watch, and take quizzes online or offline, anytime and anywhere. 2. Confined Water Training Next, you’ll move to a pool or calm water environment to practice essential scuba skills. Here, you’ll get comfortable with your gear and master techniques like clearing water from your mask, performing pre-dive safety checks, and making smooth ascents and descents. 3. Open Water Dives Once you’ve built confidence, you’ll complete four open water dives in the ocean or another large body of water. Each dive includes a few skills followed by a guided underwater exploration with your instructor. After completing your four training dives, you’ll earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification—valid for life! This certification allows you to book dive trips, rent equipment, and dive with a buddy up to 18 meters (60 feet) anywhere in the world. **Advanced Certifications** Take your diving to the next level with our Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster courses. Each program builds on your skills and experience, helping you grow as a diver while exploring new environments and challenges. We offer flexible scheduling, easy payment plans, and all-inclusive pricing—covering gear, entrance fees, equipment, and air fills—so you can focus entirely on your training. **CPR/First Aid Courses** Our U.S. Coast Guard-approved CPR/First Aid course is essential for anyone aiming to obtain a captain's license or advanced dive certifications. This six-hour course teaches basic lifesaving techniques, including the use of oxygen. It's a critical course that equips you with the skills to potentially save a life.
