This private full body burial at sea charter offers a respectful and carefully managed service for families who choose a full body interment at sea. This charter accommodates groups of up to 70 guests and is reserved exclusively for your group. The service takes place offshore in the Gulf Stream waters near Fort Lauderdale. The charter includes transportation of the casket from the marina to the appropriate offshore burial grounds. Our experienced crew will assist with all required handling and ensure the process is conducted safely and respectfully. A full body burial at sea requires a casket that meets EPA regulations for ocean burial. If you do not already have a funeral director who can provide an appropriate casket, we can recommend funeral directors who have experience preparing caskets specifically for burial at sea. The charter typically lasts just under three hours. During the service, your group may hold readings, prayers, eulogies, or any personal or religious observances you choose. When ready, the captain and crew can assist with the deployment of the casket into the sea. Live flowers may be placed in the water as part of the service.
